Early complete remission after CAR T-cell therapy predicts better long-term survival, and patients who respond later within three months can still achieve good outcomes.
In this nationwide French registry study of 1542 large B-cell lymphoma patients treated with CAR T cells, complete remission at one month was the strongest predictor of long-term event-free survival. Incomplete responders who converted to CR within 3 months had meaningfully better outcomes, highlighting a clinically actionable window for additional intervention.
